100 things about us

I know that many of you having been tagging each other by requiring those you tag to tell us seven interesting things about themselves. Fortunately I wasn't ever tagged because a few weeks ago, I started working on a list that is 100 facts about the Vegas Sewell family. I hope some of you learn something and have a laugh or two. I would love to hear any comments you have about our crazy lives.

1. Jeremy has been to 19 different countries.
2. I went to Spain for my high school graduation. Thanks Dad!!!
3. Jeremy said “I love you” first.
4. My first major in college was Spanish.
5. Jeremy speaks Greek.
6. I want to learn to play the piano.
7. I love to sing even though I can’t sing that well.
8. I love planning parties.
9. I lost my original marriage band a week after Jeremy and I were married.
10. I can raise one eyebrow at a time.
11. Jeremy shaves his legs.
12. Once I completely shaved off my eyebrows. I looked very scary!!
13. Jeremy and I like to eat meat that is medium-rare to medium.
14. Jeremy loves the wind and I hate it.
15. Jeremy’s first car was a 1984 Renault Alliance
16. I don’t want my kids to drive when they are 16, and I am sure I won’t get what I want.
17. My hair has been many colors such as red, pink, blue, purple
18. Instead of going to my Senior Prom, I went to Disneyland.
19. I LOVE Disneyland.
20. I like to take charge, but I worry that others will think I am too pushy.
21. Noelle has a lazy eye.
22. Nathan was born with an umbilical hernia. We’re not sure if it’s completely healed.
23. We love our children so much!!!!!
24. We think Nathan is left handed.
25. I don’t really like dark chocolate, but I’ll eat semi-sweet chocolate chips if I NEED chocolate RIGHT NOW and that is all we have in the cupboards.
26. Please don’t ever tickle my feet.
27. When I was a little girl, my brother and his friend wouldn’t stop tickling my feet, so I peed all over his bed.
28. I used to be able to put both of my legs behind my head at the same time. Now I can only do one at a time.
29. My favorite flavors of ice cream are chocolate chip mint and cake batter.
30. I could eat an entire ½ gallon of ice cream in two days, maybe one. (I haven’t actually ever done this, but I just know I could do it.)
31. I love to hike even though I don’t get the chance to do it much.
32. I have hiked the Mt. Charleston Peak.
33. The most money that Jeremy ever made in one night as a server was $600.
34. It drives me nuts when people don’t use their blinker.
35. If Jeremy goes out of town, I sleep with a shot gun close by.
36. One time I was driving an automatic. As I was slowing down, I threw the car into reverse because I temporarily thought I was driving a stick shift.
37. Ok, I know I can be an airhead sometimes.
38. I hate being pregnant, and I don’t think I am patient enough to have anymore children.
39. We’ll still probably have one more child.
40. I love babies so much. Sometimes I wish I could eat Noelle.
41. Sometimes Nathan actually tries to eat Noelle. She has been bitten a few times.
42. The longest I ever stayed awake was approximately 60 hours.
43. I spend way too much time on the internet.
44. Jeremy has baked over 500 pies in three days.
45. Jeremy has waited on Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Sharon Stone, Melanie Griffith, Troy Aikman, and the lead singer to Blink 182
46. My first concert was M.C. Hammer, and Jeremy’s was Neil Diamond.
47. Jeremy’s favorite scripture is John 14:15.
48. One of my favorites is Joshua 24:15.
49. Some of our favorite movies are Moulin Rouge, Shawshank Redemption, The Bourne Series, The Count of Monte Cristo, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days,
50. Jeremy owns a kilt, and he has worn it many times in public.
51. Nathan loves to help cook. He plays with the kitchen toys in nursery all the time.
52. Noelle might have red hair.
53. Jeremy had a kidney stone when he was 22 years old. This is when his parents found out he had a tattoo, and he changed the subject by saying, “oh, the pain!!!”
54. I have one tattoo and I wish that I didn’t. I have a stretch mark going right through it so it looks funky.
55. Who knows how many piercings I have had in my life?
56. Now that I don’t dance, I really need a new hobby/talent. Any suggestions?
57. Jeremy is way too busy for any hobbies/talents.
58. Jeremy is very talented. He can sing, cook, act, dance, play the guitar, and who knows what else.
59. I love that Jeremy thinks I am funny because no one else does.
60. I love looking at floor plans and new home models.
61. Nathan is in the worst mood when he wakes up. Sometimes he’ll cry for an hour. You can wake Noelle up at anytime, and she will smile at you.
62. I can’t believe I have almost 40 more facts to tell you.
63. My middle name is Louise. What’s yours?
64. My birthday, December 26^th, kind of stinks. Everyone is always depressed because the day after Christmas is such a let down.
65. Jeremy is my best friend. My mom is my second best friend.
66. I graduated from high school a year early.
67. Jeremy took dance class to be in a room full of girls.
68. Jeremy proposed to me in front of the Bellagio. He planned to be on his knee as soon as the water show was over. Unfortunately, the fountains were off due to wind. It took him a long time to get on his knee and ask me.
69. If I could pick a superhero to be like, I’d pick Superman.
70. I went to a private Catholic school for 9 years of my life.
71. Between Jeremy and I, we have attended five different universities/colleges.
72. We root for UNLV. Go Rebels!!!
73. Here are some cities that we might consider settling down in: Carson City, Reno, Flagstaff, St.George.
74. We prefer a smaller city, but it must have a university, Target, Chili’s, and a LDS temple.
75. Nathan LOVES to be around people.
76. Nathan is a mommy’s boy.
77. I hate the way I look in hats, but Jeremy and Nathan look great in them. Noelle hasn’t worn many hats yet.
78. I always wanted braces. Now that I have them, I wonder why I got them. I didn’t really need them.
79. When I was 18 – 20, I went shooting with some friends that had many different guns. I really enjoyed it, and I want to go again with my brother.
80. I love horses. I have taken a few riding lessons, and I hope to own a horse one day.
81. I have always wanted to adopt a child, but it doesn’t feel like the right thing for our family.
82. We plan on changing Noelle’s name from ‘Kaylyn Noelle’ to ‘Noelle Kaylyn.’
83. Deciding Noelle’s name has been very difficult. We had no problem with Nathan’s.
84. Nathan’s middle name is my maiden name, ‘Liston.’
85. I haven’t missed using my maiden name as much as I thought I would.
86. Breastfeeding hasn’t been a challenge for me.
87. I hate touching raw chicken.
88. I love going to Salt Lake City for Thanksgiving.
89. Someone in our family usually gets sick the week of Thanksgiving.
90. I love Target, but I always spend way too much money when I go there.
91. I can’t decide if I love or hate Christmas.
92. I love decorating for Christmas, being with family, watching Christmas movies and eating a lot of good food.
93. I hate the presents part of Christmas.
94. Our office is always a disaster. I should be cleaning it instead of making this list.
95. If I could have one wish, I would wish for all the members in my family to have long, healthy and happy lives. Is that three wishes?
96. I am more for traditional, modern medicine than holistic medicine.
97. I really like the show Private Practice
98. I’m not very good at making crafts.
99. I get really uncomfortable when someone says the word ‘fart.’ I prefer ‘toot’ or ‘stinky.’
