Fashonista

For the past six months, my daugther has shown a great interest in clothes. I know! She's not even two. She pushes the clothes I pick out for her away, and she grunts at her closet door until I pick her up so she can choose her outfit. She must get this from her father. Some of her favorite types of clothing are the following: hats, fleece clothing, jackets, pajamas with feet, and anything that belongs to her brother. Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of her all dressed up in her favorites, but here are a couple of pics anyway.

She had to put on my new fleece robe that I received for my birthday. She was quite upset when she couldn't walk around in it.

Nathan made these glasses at school, and the lady at the gym called him the Valentine Super Hero. I like that title!

I never make time!

I always have many different thoughts and ideas going through my head that I want to blog about, but I never make time to do it. It really frustrates me because my blog not only gives all of you updates (that I know you can't live without) about our family, but it also serves as a journal for our family. Anyway, I could do a lengthy post about all that has been going on this past month or I could just recommit to setting aside time to blog. That is what I am going to do, and now here is my first post.

Last week I picked up a kid fit video at a children's store that was going out of business. We put it on, and it was a yoga class for children. It was very cute, and Nathan was very interested in doing it. He even did the meditation part at the end. I didn't know he could sit still with his eyes covered for that long. Anyway, the very next morning he came to me and said "exercise, I must do my exercise every day." Then he asked me to put on the video, and he proceeded to do his 'exercise.' Here is a cute picture of him holding a yoga pose. I am glad he is starting young.

Grandpa = buddy

So Grandpa Jerry comes to our house many times throughout the week. He is quite popular around here. Not only do the two grand kids adore him, but the cat and dog are always following at his footsteps as well. Nathan and Noelle love to climb on Grandpa's lap, play games, and weasel him out of treats. This past Wednesday he won the award for Best Grandpa of the Year. Las Vegas gets about o.5 inches of snow a year. This past Wednesday it snowed all day, and 3.5 to 8 inches of snow were laid around the valley. Well Nathan and Noelle didn't want to miss out on feeling the snow fall on their face so Grandpa Jerry happily took them outside to stand in the snow. At first I was thinking that his Wisconsin blood must still be running hot through his veins, but then I realized that this wasn't the case. The truth is, Grandpa Jerry is so devoted to his grand kids that he will do just about anything (stand in the freezing snow) to make them happy. We are so greatful for Grandpa Jerry and all our other family members who make us so happy. Thanks for all you do.
