Last night while Jeremy was pulling an all night study session, the kids and I slept soundly in our beds. Suddenly, "CRACK, BOOM, BANG," I awoke to the sound of thunder and to the feeling that lightning may have struck the field behind our house. Everything was fine, but we were in the midst of a thunderstorm. Aside from missing my precious sleep, I really enjoyed the time Jeremy and I spent gazing out the window and watching the electrifying sky. We shared stories about various storms we each had experienced. We cuddled in our bed as we anticipated the passing of the storm and the arrival of a scared son. The storm did pass, but Nathan slept right through the excitement. Mom and Dad may be exhausted, but the kids are rested, and we were able to spend some quality time together. Carpe Diem!!!

Sleepless in Las Vegas

You guys are so cute! When that crash happened, Ryan and I flew out of bed, ran to his computer, and discovered that every one of our Internet customers was down!! It took most of the day but he got them up and working again. Come to find out that Cox was down for a while also--it made us feel a little better.
My boys slept through it also--how can that be. That was a crazy storm.
