For myself, I find I need to go through a move (or combined housefire *and* move) every few years just as an excuse to throw out things like that. They are old, disgusting, mold-infested, dirty, SHOES! Time to cut the cord, Jeremy. Buy a new pair for yourself, one for Suzie, and go have another look at those Greek islands (Cyprus is doing very well since re-unification).
