So I am excited about a few shows this year; actually four. It's hard to imagine that I want to watch that much TV when about a year and a half ago I never watched any. Here are the shows that I like. What do you like? If the season premiere has already aired this year, tell me what you thought about it.
Heroes - I love this sci-fi, fantasy show. The writing, creativity, and complex characters have me hooked. I wouldn't dare miss an episode. If you haven't seen this one, but you want to watch it, I recommend renting the first and second seasons on DVD before you tune into NBC on Monday nights.
Private Practice - So I really enjoyed the short, first season last year. I have high hopes that this show will continue to capture my attention and keep me coming back for more. The season premiere is October 1st. I can't wait.
Grey's Anatomy - The truth really is that I keep watching this show in hopes that it will one day become the wonderful, addictive show it was for the first two seasons. They are now 2 for 2 so this season will determine whether or not it is worthy enough for me to turn on. I did enjoy the season premiere. While it was not season 1 or 2 material, I definitely think they have potential this year. We'll have to see.
The Amazing Race - Ever since they moved this show to Sunday nights I haven't been able to enjoy it. I always forget that it is on, or I have other engagements to fulfill. I am really going to try this year because it is the one reality TV show that I like. I'll have to set my alarm clock for this Sunday.

Dave and I are the same way. We made a list of shows we want to watch and now we have to narrow it down so we're not watching ten shows a night. We started watching that new show Fringe and it was good and Dave watched that new show called The Mentalist and said that was one good too. We have not watched Heroes yet but I have it recorded...we're trying to figure out if we really want to see that one. We have not even watched the new Office yet! I love that show.
So we are just as pumped for the fall comebacks!!!!!!!! Amazing Race, The Office, ER, Grey's... so many great shows coming back! We watched Heroes initially but I had to trim down some shows so I stopped after the first season. We also love Lost and 24 but they'll be a while before they're back! The Office premiere was pretty much everything we could have hoped for.... enjoy it whenever you get to it! :)

I watched Grey's and I recorded Amazing Race. The Office's premiere made me laugh--which I love. I'm really not too excited about anything on TV right now...I think the writing strikes ruined my TV addiction. I learned I could live without TV. OH no! I do agree, we need some season 1 or 2 type grey's anatomy TV. I miss those good old TV days where you felt like you were going to die waiting a whole 7 days to see what was going to happen next.
i love you for loving tv. I watched the amazing race for the first time last year and i thought it was awesome. It will be going in the dvr que this year for sure!
