So it was quite an experience to be back on stage during the Dance in the Desert Festival. For the most part, the shows went great. For the Friday night performance, we danced to a song from the sixties
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. This was a lot of fun because we were able to dress up like hippies. The picture below is of some of the dancers in our fun costumes. I made a lot of new friends that I hope I get to see in the fall. Mostly it was wonderful being able to spend time with my good friend Leslie Roth and her family. Some family and friends from church came to the Saturday performance. It made me feel quite special knowing I have such a great support group. Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the show.

Even though this picture is blurry, I had to post it. 24 hours before the Friday night show, some problems arose with the costume I was planning to wear. I was completely stressed out until about an hour before the show when this sweet girl, Pashawna, made a small gestured that fixed everything for me. I won't go into details about the problems or what she did. I just want to mention this because it is a reminder that small and simple things can make life so much better for another person. Thanks Pashawna for making my evening a lot brighter.
