Today was one of
those days!
It all started when a cute little boy jumped into our bed at 3a.m.
We took him back to his bed, and after we had just fallen asleep, he was back again.
This scenario continued for about two hours.
Sleepily, Noelle and I went to her ophthalmologist appointment.
After spending an unexpected three hours at the office, we were sent home with the news that Noelle has exotropia, or outward turning of the eye.
It isn’t really serious, but if it gets worse or if she has vision problems, she will have surgery.
That would be down the road.
I’ll keep you posted.
Many other things happened throughout the day that left me feeling gloomy, but the one I really want to tell you about is depicted in the two pictures above. I was feeding Noelle, and I thought Nathan was watching Curious George. I suddenly heard a strange scratching noise so I decided to check on Nathan. I walked into the living room to find our green couch covered with orange crayon. He also thought the blue couch and the wall would display his masterpiece well. I do love his creativity, but I’m not hiring him as my interior designer. For now, Nathan will have to find another medium to showcase his scribbles. The crayons are in the trash!

Her eye turn does not occur all the time. Here are some pictures of her beautiful eyes.

It's tought being three and its even tougher being mommy and daddy of a three year old. All three of you will get through this but it wont be easy. Nathan sure is a cut little monster. We will pray for Noelle that her eyes will get better, she has beautiful eyes and she is a beautiful little girl. Keep up the good work you and Jeremy are great parents. I LOVE YOU ALL.
Is that underwear on Nathan's head!! That is so funny! It really puts into perspective how crazy being a parent can be.
Noelle has beautiful eyes and always brightens up the room with her adorable smile. I'm sure that everything will turn out fine.

Your couch would look great in our basement...there is green crayon strewn about the wall. However, Hendrix does not have such an exquisite artist beret as Nathan does!
